22 Awesome Collage Works

February 19, 2008 from

I remember when I was a little boy that I would make some collages to use as book cover. And I used to make some pretty cool stuff, but this dude makes some awesome stuff.

His name is Greg Gossel, and was born in Wisconsin in 1982. I've been looking at some cool collages recently, but this dude's work is impressive. And, if you really enjoy it, you may take it home with you, because these are actually for sale! Enjoy! You may visit this links [#1, #2] for further information about the artist.

The wallpaper of this week is from Genaro Desia, an illustrator also known as Surround with a simply incredible style. The 80's color scheme mixed with vectors and stars give to his work a very modern but at the same time retro feel in it.

Book Suggestion: Visual Complexity - Mapping Patterns of Information
The book of this week is a book I just got from a friend. It was in my wish list for a long time. The book is called Visual Complexity: Mapping Patterns of Information and as the reviews says, it's about our ability to generate information now far exceeds our capacity to understand it.
