With the arrival of the latest iPhones, there is of course, the release of accessories for us to get and have it part of the essentials. Called: Stand Series, it has been designed by the folks from Seoul-based creative studio found / Founded for the Mkeke brand.

Typography is the soul of a design project. It's what makes the communication possible. As one of my good professor's and mentor used to say, typography is the physical version of the language. I used to be really into collecting font families, from T-26, Emigre, FF, House Industries, you name it.
I wanted to start the week with an artist that is part of what I think a master at his craft, a gigantic boost of inspiration that can affect us in many ways. So here goes, the work from a Turkey-based artist named Ali Alamedy. He is a miniaturist and as you can see by the pictures; his work is down-right meticulous. I mean just look at the attention of the details, everything.

Kicking off the Weekend with a very pretty graphic & print design project by Kansas-based designer Rachel Roth. She was invited to design an invitation for the Spencer Museum of Art located at the University of Kansas. There are two things I love about her work on this project, the choice of paper and her direction of double typography laying on top to each other.
Tariq Yosef Shishani shared a quite elegant brand identity project on his Behance profile. The project is titled Mirror and it is for an architecture studio. The logo features a simple and geometric form in perspective that ends up giving a good sense of depth.
Julian Kraske is a designer from Frankfurt, Germany and he shared a super awesome web design project on his Behance profile. It's the redesign for the PlayStation Store. There are so many cool things to say about it but I will start by highlighting the clean and light theme.
It's always amazing the number of great projects we stumbled across on Kickstarter and also landing in our inboxes over the years. It's also inspiring seeing entrepreneurs creating products and businesses around small things that can make a great difference, not necessarily in our field but rightly for others.
We are taking a closer look at the work of Spain-based illustrator named Mercedes deBellard and her latest illustration series for Stylist Magazine. Among the people shown in her series, you might have recognized "Mike", the kid from Netflix's Stranger Things. It's a lovely collection of both drawings and paintings; I am quite fascinated by the treatment on the hair.
Sadly the end of the year is coming up soon enough. We all going to be down this road with putting together our yearly collection. Larssen & Amaral created beautifully provocative yet elegant brand identity for !Konferansen, a conference for women in Norway. What caught my initial eye was the striking and bold visual language. You feel the words howling from the page in a way which fits seamlessly with the mission of the conference.
Every morning I spend some time while having my coffee checking out some feeds and websites like Behance and Dribbble.
