Productivity is everything and the more I get older, time is also super essential to the results and efforts at being more efficient. Among all the factors to the success at the state of producing more, I believe having the right workspace is also a huge influence that contributes to the overall concept to productivity.
Between the announcement of the iPhone 7 and the most (not-so) outrageous removal of the headphone jack. I would say that what surprised me the most was the announcement of the new product called: Airpods. In my opinion, It’s not a design for everyone and it comes to a pretty expensive price.

As we all witnessing the end of Summer (Northern Hemisphere), didn’t anybody felt like it was the quickest summer? We hope that you guys had some time to rest and chasing some light before fall will slowly manifest itself. Through the BBQs, camping trips, road trips; some of us didn’t have that chance and worked hard at making and launching their products to the consumer group.
We've seen some great gadgets and equipment for designers. So many cool stuff, that we could actually assemble infinite perfect office spaces! Every week we'll assemble a perfect office, and we'd like you to help us. What equipment would the perfect office have?
We share a lot of articles on branding and visual identity. Most of the work we feature is very clean and tend to be super digital for lack of better term. What I want to say, that most of the symbols and logos lose a bit of the original traces from the sketch phases. Ride & Sons is a different case.
Our good friends over CAMP Festival are hosting for the 3rd year their 2-day conference about creativity, art, design and technology happening on September 27-28 in Calgary, Canada. If you’re around this part of Canada, please make sure not to miss it with some any great storytellers like Joshua Davis, Hydro74, Danny Yount, Ash Thorp and more.
A couple of months ago we shipped the new version of Abduzeedo to our readers - a new post detailing the impetus and features of the new site is forthcoming. In a nutshell, our main goal was to simplify and reduce as much as we could. One of the areas we decided to invest our time was in subtle little effects like night mode with a dark theme and CSS rollover effects over images.
We’re excited to share a pretty sweet contest we think you all may want to know about brought to you by our friends at LG. We generally shy away from promoting too many contests but this one we think you all may take interest in due to the popularity of the UltraWide Monitors.
We all had a long week of work, school and maybe vacation (some of us) and after spending some time relaxing with family, friends; we'll mostly spend be ready to tackle a new week.
Our good friend Peter Tarka never ceased to impress us here on Abduzeedo, with his inspirational concepts filled with colours, digital CGI goodness and the combination of different elements that could literally go from a little plant to a full-size statue for results to be quite lovely.
Globo.com is one of the most popular web sites in Brazil. I'd say that the main reason is because of the popularity of the TV Globo, they dominate the marketshare, but I have to also highlight that their website is one of the best news site in the world. I know a few people that worked there and they are some of the most talented designers I know.
I have to say, nothing inspires me more than a beautiful editorial design. Simplicity and elegancy, plenty of white space and beautiful typography. Add all of that and you have a truly inspiring design like the Ninety Nine U Magazine. I know their content is also stunning but let's just admire the incredible work that Mark Books put together.
Japan’s railway system is one the the most complex in the World. I’ve personally experienced it a few months back and it’s pretty consisting of many different and connected parts. Once you really experienced a few different trips, you start to understand its complexity and it becomes quite simple.
I’ve always been impressed about the level of details when a designer/artist work on symmetrical art and especially with animal faces. It’s not a new concept but it’s really interesting to witness every single perspective based on their background, inspiration and what drives them to go forward with this series.
Minimalist design is something that is getting more fans and adopters. Apple is a big contributor to this change, they have been reducing their hardware design to the barebones of form. That includes packaging as well. There are some industries that minimalism has always been the trend and I feel that interior design and furniture is a good example, especially the upscale tier.
