Today we will show you an inspiring floating home in Seattle, a project designed by Vandeventer + Carlander Architects. I couldn't find details about the project but I believe the images communicate enough. In my opinion the idea of living in a floating home is really romantic.
We've previously featured the work from Serafim Mendes with Invisible Cities on Abduzeedo and now he's back with a collaboration with Danny Ivan on their submission for Andante Design Contest where they had to create a new concept for the
There's a beauty about creating products that you'll know that most people will find a utility for either for any of their needs. Giving to your end users a product that will change their everyday habit is totally a game changer. On Abduzeedo, we just love to feature them.
The beautiful city of San Francisco, a city that I truly love because of its charming bridges and old cable cars. I can't help to notice and like how strong is the design community in the Bay. Being part and surrounded with so many tech companies, you wouldn't just imagine how cool their workspaces must be and how far away they must be from looking boring and "corporate-feel".
Here on Abduzeedo, we love to make you guys explore and discover different mediums that are from user interface design to typography. Let's also admit that about 3-4 years ago, there wasn't that much interest in UI, UX and its complexity. Tiqit is an app design concept that brings gamefication to one of the most mundane activities when driving, using turning signals. The idea is simple, every time you use your turn signal you gain a point. The end goal of course is to make us more responsible drivers. I like the idea and I also like the design process behind, that's why we are sharing it here on Abduzeedo.
Last week, we didn't get a chance to publish our weekly feature on Beautiful Houses, it's all good since we are sharing one today for you guys. We are taking a closer look today at the work from Jean Verville and his FAHOUSE project.
It's amazing how prototyping has become one of the hottest skill-sets in the toolbelt of any designer. We went from pretty much zero to a plethora of applications that help us to prototype our designs. I attribute this to the mobile revolution, nowadays it's vital to be able to test your designs on the device. There are so many details that get lost in translation otherwise.
We all had a long week of work, school and maybe vacation (some of us) and after spending some time relaxing with family, friends; we'll mostly spend be ready to tackle a new week.
It's been a few days that I'm not posting any new inspiration, and today I'm featuring a concept UI project from Stanislav Krishtal for the famous wear branding ASOS. It's a web project with a lot of graphic design inspiration, a magazine style that we're seeing so much designer using, but just a few making it right!
We used to run the Friday Free Fonts series of posts in the past but finding free fonts are not that easy. We understand the level of work necessary to design a font and good work is not always free. So today I want to feature the Frontage Condensed Typeface designed by Juri Zaech, a Swiss Art Director, currently living and working in Paris, France.
