This is an amazing concept that could revolutionize something as simple and ubiquitous as the keyboard. This keyboard works more like a touch screen than a keyboard, there are no actual keys. This means that it is not limited to standard keyboard set-up. It's more like an extra screen that happens to be touch-sensitive.
Ever imagined how cool would it be if you had your own 3D models? Well, you can actually have it now! Shapeways, a new platform and global community for 3D-design and production, takes a major step towards the next generation of consumer co-creation with the announcement of the Shapeways Creator Engine.
It's really cool when you find designers that work with many different styles. Jonathan Kenyon and John Glasgow, both from England are like that: multi-talented.

In this tutorial I will show you how to create a nice light painiting effect for texts and logos. You will be able to design nice wallpapers and images using this technique and even different light effects. Also, celebrating the Olympic Games we will use its logo for the example.
After almost two months of vacation, I'm back. Even though I was away I still kept working on personal and even some professional projects and blogging when I had free time.
Today I'm going to show you how to make a nice looking wallpaper in Photoshop. It includes how to make very nice looking leaves, waterdrops and subtle background effects. Enjoy!
Step 1: The Beginning
First open a new document of your screen size, I used my own resolution, which is 1440x900 pixels.
When you've did that, choose 2 nice blue colours, the I used #0090ff as foreground and #003ebd as background colour.
