In a period that people like to say "there's no such thing as bad publicity", I tell you people that if there's no bad publicity, I'm a 100% sure that there's is awesome publicity. US Elections will soon be arriving this year, and we got to see same great publicity from some candidates, but one of 'em deserves a special look: Obama Barack.

When you are a designer, you gotta think about a lot of things: contrast, balance, alignments, imagery, and typography. For me, design itself is all about typography. Not only typefaces, but how you use it and what you may create playing with them. Typography is the art and techniques of type design, modifying type glyphs, and arranging type.

Last year I had written a tutorial showing how to create some lighting effects in Photoshop, it was called Magic Lighting Effects. A lot of people liked it, but some people still have some questions on how to achieve that effect. When I added a “buy me a coffee” featured on my blog I decided to use an image I had done when I was showing my cousin how to do the Magic effect. Instead of using a hat I used a coffee cup and the process is basically the same, however this time I will explain it in more details.

Back from the New Year’s eve, I bit of hangover, I’d like to wish you all an excellent 2008. And celebrating the new year I created this new image that I will write a tutorial showing how to create clouds in Photoshop. They are not simply clouds, they are more a cartoon clouds, very colorful and stylish.

I saw this story on Digg this morning but as it was a bit too early in the morning I didn't check it out. However after some hours a friend of mine sent me the link again and I saw the video. I have to say it's awesome, a very catchy song indeed.
