I just enjoy finding cool artist over the internet. It's a real treat getting to know awesome pieces of work that are true eye candies.
After a long winter the spring has arrived, and that means that summer is just around the corner. At least for us down here in the southern hemisphere. To celebrate that, and to follow up on our series of HDR Photos posts we selected some stunning HDR photos of beaches and waves.
Today is the Vector day, we have the 5 great vector packs giveaway from Designious and now we feature the fantastic work of Mel Marcelo, an artist and illustrator living in Southern California. The first time I saw his work was in one of those oackley ads and I was amazed by the quality of the illustrations.
I love vector images, in special floral. We simply can do all sorts of things with them. I remember in the past, it was very hard to get nice vector packs, back in the day when I used to use Corel Draw 6 or 8 I think. Now, however we have nice vector packs available and for a very affordable price, like the Designious Vector Packs.

Yesterday I was surfing the web and I ended up on a site called Keepdrafting, where I saw some very interesting works from a talented artist called Augustine Kofie. I was amazed by his work and I thought it would be awesome to share with you. He has incredible paintings, wall paintings, illustrations, installations, and videos.
For the last few days I've been researching a lot of Typography due to a personal project. Finding the right lettering is really difficult, but there's plenty inspiration over the internet. Movie posters are probably one of the best ways to check some cool designs. Hollywood posters tend to look alike... floating heads, photoshop effects and all that. But B-movies are in another level of coolness for sure. B-Movies posters usually are corny, but its old school feel makes just the trick. And of course, not only the design itself is cool, but also the movies names.
Typography is the kind of work that always catches our attention. Stefan Chinof, a Bulgarian designer not only plays a lot with typos, but makes other great pieces. I really like patterns and I use them a lot in my designs, that's why I want to share with you some very cool images from Daniele De Nigris. An italian designer that has a very cool style, reminds another great artist Andy Gilmore. His latest works are the ones I like the most, the repetition of symbols and different colors gives an incredible depth to the the patterns.
