Hi, here's my first post on Abduzeedo. I want to spend my very first one for an artist I recently discovered and I loved since the very first second, her name is Audrey Kawasaki.
This is a short description of her art directly from her site "The themes in Audrey Kawasaki's work are contradictions within themselves. Her work is both innocent and erotic. Each subject is attractive yet disturbing. Audrey's precise technical style is at once influenced by both manga comics and Art Nouveau. Her sharp graphic imagery is combined with the natural grain of the wood panels she paints on, bringing an unexpected warmth to enigmatic subject matter."

She does beautiful work. Her girls seem to look right through you. Clean, innocent, and dark.
I knew her before, and i'm still amazed by her art. She is very gifted..
I've known her for a while now, and still I am amazed by her fantasy and by the way she choose to express it. I love love love her style, it's ancient and yet modern, it's seen and yet unique.
