Mac has been been a clear sign of flawless design... simple, but functional, and for a long time, PC market had been ignoring that fact, but we are seeing some changes before our eyes. The Dell Adamo shows us that they got lots of hidden cards to compete in terms of design.
Adamo comes to compete with Macbook Air, and for that, it's also known as the "Macbook Air Killer". It's always nice to see a big league competition, mainly because consumers get awesome deals out of it. The only issue for Adamo is that, while Mac has a sweet OS, it has not. Yet. It looks great! the only thing is the $2,000 price. Very similar to a MacBook so if I have $2,000 to buy a PC why not buy a MacBook?

yeah, the adamo is very amazing, but a bit expensive... cheapest one with 1900€ -.-
about the price, i think the same as Cesar. Mac performance is always better than pc. My opnion of course.

I'm so tired of manufacturers charging a premium for an okay design. Of course, how will the chic 22 year old designers justify the price tag just to be hip?

I wouldn't spend 2000 on a PC anymore.
Always crashing and always dealing with viruses.
Macbook is the way to go. Hard as a rock, no viruses. Because 'rocks' can't get infected.

Less viruses, but only because of less Mac users. The more Mac users, the more viruses born. But... that's all the trendy Mac user can hang on to at this point. I've got no preference performance-wise, but Mac's 'make it cute and morons will buy it' thing is getting a bit tired.
I just love the amazing design. The only thing that I think can compete with this is the Voodoo Envy 133.

A bit off topic:
Macs have been the standard for design for a long time, but big companies, especially for movie editing, are buying PCs with the Linux OS because of cost issues (and they seem to work the same way).
Oh, Dell. After seeing how badly my friends' Dell laptops have fared, there is no way I would ever consider buying something from them. Not if you paid me. They were way too much trouble.
Nice design however very underpowered compared to cheaper laptop. Kudos to dell for attempting to challenge apple in selling premium laptops.

Macs don't get less viruses because there are less Mac users, they get less viruses because OS X is UNIX based, which is a more secure operating system. I'm not saying OS X in uncrackable, but do some research before you post people.
