Shigeru Fuse was born in the city of Chiba in Japan and graduated in architecture at the Musashino Art University. He also studied at the Tokyo Institute of Technology from 1985 to 2002, also he worked in the office Shigeru Daiichi-Kobo Associates.

In 2003, Shigeru founded his own architecture firm called fuse-atelier. Today is a professor at Musashino Art University and has in his office a large variety of residential projects.
