Art Installation at the House of Peroni

The House Of Peroni - an event by M & C Saatchi. They invited Baroncelli, the visionary lighting design studio, to design an installation inspired by Rome. The result, a phantasma. Baroncelli's modular lighting system built as mechanisms to create the old Roma. I was given the task to design four walls which married the products to the context. Using white chalk pens; 60mm and 30mm. The main aim was to expand the room, using perspective and various vanishing points to achieve the feeling of walking into the landscape only the mind can construct.

With only 3-4 days to get the room finished, we eventually pulled it off- bringing the old Roma and new Roma to life. If you are in London; head on down to Lincoln Inn fields; The House Of Peroni, to view the installation and several other talented artists and designers who took up residency for the month of October.
