This week we will show you the beautiful Queens Park House in Sydney, Australia, a project by Fox Johnston. This house is really nice and cozy. Loved the contrasting white walls with the wood and black elements. The place looks modern, elegant and cozy. Certainly a great place to live.

Description from the architects: The clients required a large family home for their growing family that would best utilize the expansive nature of the block as well as respect the integrity of the existing house. The project response involves grafting a two story folded volume onto the rear of the existing shell – a parents retreat and study on the upper level, with a generous living area below. A central courtyard inserted between old and new provides relief and allows light and breezes to permeate. Living areas open onto a lush rear garden.

Make sure to check out Fox Johnston website for further inspiring projects. See you next week :)
