Beautiful Introspective Photography

December 08, 2009 from PauloGabriel's blog

One of the main reasons why I love photography so much, is that it captures introspective moments so well. Some people might think that being introspective means that you're sad, but they're wrong. Being introspective is much more... is looking inside yourself, looking at your soul. These moments are awesome.

I know that some of you might not even enjoy these moments, by taking a good look inside you from time to time is a good way to clean things, put things in order. And thanks to photogaphy, there are introspective photography not only for people, but for animals and any other thing too. I guess that's the magic of it. Anything is possible. Anyways, I hope you enjoy my brief selection of pictures, and please, visit each photographer's page. Support creativity. Cheers! ;)

Wallpaper of the Week #64 - Anna Anjos
The wallpaper of this week is a very cool illustration created by Anna Anjos, a graphic designer and illustrator from São Paulo, Brazil. Anna started very young creating the internal drawings of her mother's book. Since her early days she preferred pencils and papers than conventional toys. Her first work was at age 10 where she had the opportunity to create the internal drawings of her mother's book. We highly recommend that you check out Anna Anjos' website

Book Suggestion: Visual Complexity - Mapping Patterns of Information
The book of this week is a book I just got from a friend. It was in my wish list for a long time. The book is called Visual Complexity: Mapping Patterns of Information and as the reviews says, it's about our ability to generate information now far exceeds our capacity to understand it.
