Following our series of Photoshop Quick Tips, today we have a really nice tip from Cameron, a photographer and digital artist working at BOXeight Studio. Cameron will show us a really cool photo treatment that will give an edgy, surreal look and feel to a regular photo. Step 1

About a month ago a friend of mine (Aaram Safai) had told me about this studio that he had gotten in contact with. He raved on and on about it. I immediately became interested. So he finally decided to tell me the name, BOXeight Studios...

Last week I posted "Bored at home with Photoshop™" which showed a sped up process of me retouching an image. I was pretty surprised with the results and the simplicity of the effect. With some persuasion by Fabio, I decided to create a tutorial on how I achieved that effect. So without further ado here is the tutorial:

Well it's been almost 7 months since I posted my last video on here and I have learned a lot of great techniques since then. The "A perfect lie in Adobe Photoshop" was a great start; however, I have learned that the techniques that I had used before may not actually be the proper way.

It has become apparent that Fabio and I have caught the photography bug. So much so that we both bought brand new cameras. Fabio ordered the Canon Powershot G9 while I ordered the Nikon D300. Both of our cameras arrived last Friday, giving us the weekend to get our first impressions and grab a couple shots. WARNING: we suck So without further ado:

As you can probably tell the crew here at Abduzeedo are just fascinated by HDR Photography. There is something cool about HDR that i can't really explain. Maybe it's the colors or detail. Whatever it is, HDR is just plain awesome.
