I saw this post today on core77 and I thought it was a great story to share it with our Abduzeedo readers. I'm sure you've all heard the notion that "print is a dying medium." Advertising in print is down, and seems to continue declining, because more people are going online to read content.
Earlier this week I attended the press preview of the upcoming MoMA Tim Burton retrospective exhibit, which opens Sunday, 22 November 2009. The exhibit is a showcase of his work from childhood to the present.
Papercraft has become very popular in the last couple of years. Usually it's small little cute figures and what not, but this 3D artist has taken it one....no, more like 100 steps further. Check out his amazing papercraft 3D self-portrait.

I've seen some pretty cool Flash sites out there but I think this one has to be one of the most innovate. Web designer Andreas Lutz has created his portfolio site using Flash and utilizing your computer's webcam and microphone to let you surf his site without need for a mouse. You use your hands to make gestures that the webcam tracks and you can use speech. It's freakin' amazing!
I was just browsing through the works of this awesome UK design studio called Pokedstudio when I came across their free wallpaper section and loved them so much I just had to share. They have a good range of styles from illustrated to 3D rendered to retro collage style. I hope you like them as much as I do.

For years now, probably since the mid-90's, I've been hearing about a remake of this anime classic into a live-action film.
You have to check out this clever ad on YouTube for a new Wii game. At first you think it looks like a regular YouTube page showing a video clip of the new Wario game. But all the shaking and explosions happening in the clip start to wreak havoc on the whole page.

The T-Mobile G1 debuted today and the blogosphere is buzzing with reviews. The biggest reason is that it's the first phone to use the Google Android software. Could this phone really be competition for the iPhone?
Here are two classic 80's icons turned into real life video art. One is a stop-motion video of a game of Tetris and the other is the making-of a large-scale automobile rendition of a Transformer.
