Following our series of Pixelmator tutorials, this week we will show you how to create an abstract wallpaper using the Quartz Composer filters. Even though the effect seems a bit complex, you will be surprise how easy is to create it in Pixelmator. It won't take you more than 10 minutes to reproduce this tutorial. The wallpaper of this week is an image created by Kevin Roodhorst, a 19-year-old Dutch digital artist studying graphic design in Amsterdam, with hopes of moving on to an advertising agency or into the world of freelancing when finished.
Kevin likes to experiment with different graphic effects on photographed subjects and in particular using Cinema 4D to make 3D objects, light effects and renders.
