I love abduzeedo and everyone about it, it is definitely a 'node' in the creative industry and I hope the guys at abduzeedo.com a very merry christmas and a happy new year. with that said, as a student and young starting professional, I could definitely use those business cards...

hamochi12/25/2008

I tech-guide how to make a basic drupal theme would be nice...

srpsco12/25/2008

I would love to see a tutorial on drawing characters using photoshop. These have become very popular for web design, and I think they would help brand the corp blog, and still make it less formal compared to the corp. site.

erikdraven12/25/2008

I would see tutorials more focused to the print aspect of the design. How to avoid the common and uncommon mistakes of this task.

Some tutorials focused on the elaboration of products ads...

Or maybe some tutorial for Corel products, like Painter. I want to use Painter for some draws made some time ago... I hope this suggestions help you!!

Merry Christmas and Happy 2009!!

Heaton12/25/2008

Anyway I wish all awesome job in next year :D

amahony12/25/2008

Merry Christmas and happy holidays!

Hi abduzeedo,

I like your blog, I read everyday. I have one suggestion, Can you guys post tutorials for Illustrator? It would be great. Thanks!

-Alex

Massimo Belloni12/25/2008

My proposal ins nothing new, but something which will be (I beleive) very appreciated: there are around a lot of tutorials about sharpening images

Leventhan12/25/2008

I would really want to see tutorials about some more elaborations on print specs/ business cards/ effective flyers etc.

Brand identity/Logo design is also interesting.

Green Bird12/25/2008

I really like what you are doing here. What I'd like to see in the coming year is a little more showcasing of designer's work and designer interviews.

Thanks for what you are doing!

Adrian12/25/2008

It would also be nice to see quicker/shorter tutorials for a busy day. Maybe call the post series: "The One Minute Nugget" or something. And then make the focus of those tutorials aspects of Photoshop's Image tools & filters. ie. A quick tutorial that explains the ins and outs of the Smart Sharpen filter and how to use it. I think having tutorials geared toward one specific tool in Photoshop is valuable, and will bring even more visitors to the site.

Thanks for a great year of inspiration;

wozkol12/25/2008

I'd like to learn more with typography articles and tutorials, like the amazing "Super Cool Frilly Bits Typography".

Happy 09!

jangel12/25/2008

merry holidays and happ new ones ...
I would like to see more tuts in Pixelmator sioftware because I can not afford Photoshop

Big hugs and cheers for the new year

Metin Ucar12/25/2008

Hi there!
I'd like to see more of illustrator tutorials. Also, it'd be great if the tutorials are more detailed. Because I've had some difficulties to follow tutorials, since I'm a beginner.
Keep rocking guys!

Charlotte Spencer12/25/2008

Quick bits. Just like "tip of the day" showing how to do cool thing with a particular tool. I'd like to see more illustrative techniques like "how to draw awesome zombies" (Yay, zombies!) and some photography tutorials would be awesome as I'd like to take it up.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Broshing12/25/2008

First of all, I am sorry if my english is not really good, but I am french (and tired ^^).
I'd love to see a photoshop tutorial for an inside light effect. It is not easy to discribe, I've tried to make a person glow from the inside. With a portrait of a friend trying to make him becoming just a covering for a soft light... I can only imagine how this sound weird but if that can inspire you it would be great.

Merry Chrismas to all the Abduzeedo team.

Bobby12/25/2008

I would love to see a new series of articles dubbed "studio visits" where we are allowed to glimpse into the work/studiospace of designers, photographers, and artists. With captions underneath the pictures, or a short interview. I find studio visits interesting, and pictures of a designers desk or maybe the wall of a typographer with seemingly unrelated pictures taped up to be very captivating...

(fecalface.com has studio visits and also www.theselby.com does this too)

Timothyrc12/25/2008

Please post more tutorials using 3d imagery. Merry Christmas. Jesus loves you!

Dnyanesh Mankar12/25/2008

I would like to have weekly or monthly screencasts featuring everything from regular Photoshop stuff to Flash based or After Effects tutorials.

If the above is not possible then, I would like to see more of Freelance photograpy.

ebees12/25/2008

I would love to see tutorials about web design from beginig to end, more freelace stuff, and self improving articules

ebees12/25/2008

I would love to see more tutorials about print and typography, more articules about history of computer design( maybe a new column like "best of the week" which is realy great).
Merry christmes, happy new year and keep up the good work !!!

camilo12/25/2008

Posts about creative approaches of grid designs, cases with real-world inspirations to make the grids.

Merry Christmas Abduzeedo!

TommyFerrell12/25/2008

I would really like to see some more tutorials on landscape retouching and photography
(especially on portrait photography).

And I would also appreciate if there were more video tutorials on abduzeedo as I find them to be much easier to follow!
By the way Cameron did a great job on the "Bored at home with Photoshop"-video tutorial!

Merry Christmas guys and gals!!

BORABORA12/25/2008

It's hard to say anything that you haven't already done on this amazing blog! Your Daily inspiration and best of the week posts always made my day :)

I would love to see more typographic topics and wallpapers :)

You guys just rock!

Merry Christmans!

BORABORA

Peter T12/25/2008

I would like to see more sport photography and print advertising tutorials.

kretzm12/25/2008

I would like to see a tutorial on how to make a print book. I've always found it interesting when designers do print work, and then put it all together in a book they have custom made.

Merry Christmas!

Kelvin12/25/2008

A tutorial teaching you to make your photos look like they come straight out of the movies.
There's always this darker, rich, contrast-y look of movies that I have been meaning to try to achieve in my photos. But somehow it just misses the feel.
Hue/sat? Color overlay? Highlights/shadows?

Mal12/25/2008

I'd like to see articles on the far reaches of webdesign - the freakiest, most beautiful, surreal, or entertaining web graphic work happening online.

degentd12/25/2008

Happy Holidays from Transsylvania - Kellemes Unnepeket.

I would like to see more PSD to CSS/XHTML tutorial if it's possible.
Tahnx again for all the great content and for the great contests.
Regards, Zoli

http://zooley.extra.hu

Alan Hughes12/25/2008

I think it would be interesting to do a tutorial on the best ways to integrate After Effects animations into Flash web pages. I know you guys never really deal with either of those subjects, but that would make it just that much doper and appealing to a whole new audience. You know?

Commanderlewis12/25/2008

Happy Holidays! Hmm for a tutorial! I'd like to see something like this:http://psdtuts.com/news/new-plus-tutorial-demolition-made-easy-in-photoshop/

and this: http://www.worth1000.com/tutorial.asp?sid=161052&page=2

Where we learn how to destroy a building, or city. Using Photoshop.

Demolition Made Easy in Photoshop

zimzallabimdesign12/25/2008

Maybe some tutorials on colour and texture harmonics. Such as how different colours and textures can be used to manipulate the target audience ie.: orange is known to boost peoples appetites and red is known to make people more aggressive. It would be cool to maybe look at these aspects of design as well as it is a very important part of the design process and I have yet to see any tutorials on how to utilise colours effectively.

seanmccoy12/25/2008

I would love to see the site expand on useful web layouts as well as coloring lineart for manga and comics. I'd also love to see a series on making good web banners and adverts.

Stuart12/25/2008

I would like to see more Pixelmator tutorials. Things that I can do with Pixelmator that will help me replace Photoshop.

Bramme12/25/2008

I'd love to see some photomanipulation tutorials! And some tutorials to achieve something specific, like movie posters or cd covers etc etc, focussing more on used techniques, rather than the outcoming.

DVQ12/25/2008

More website layout tutorials would be great and maybe some logo design tutorials too.

dp012/25/2008

I'd love to see more in-depth tuts on creative photomanips. i think going with a theme each time would be a good idea. you know building the manip around one technique, and thoroughly going through that instead of using a large number of techniques and explaining them all half hearted-ly

Aloke Pillai12/25/2008

An idea for a tutorial would be how to make a corporate identity set, like a stationary set. I would suggest making a huge tutorial set, starting with logo and tips one day, business card and tips the next day, and letterhead to go with it the next day.

This could keep bringing the readers back for more. :)

Kit12/25/2008

I would LOVE to see a tutorial on putting together a full identity guide. You know - a designers corporate guides and uses of their new logo, typeface, colors etc.

Or even better, a showcase of examples.

Thanks

Kit

k12/25/2008

I'd like to learn how to make a picture out of many little images...

Happy new Year

Ray12/25/2008

I've always been inspired by Typography and I would love to see something along those lines. I wouldn't mind any sort of tutorials that are similar too these pieces of gold.

www.tinyurl.com/abduzeedo

thanks Ray :)

Chris12/26/2008

-FORUM: A place were all the users of Abduzeedo can share tips, discuss, socialize etc...
-INSPIRATION ARTICLE: An article cover flyer/poster design inspiration. You could have different batches of each article like: reggae/hip hop/techno/birthday/rock etc... Each genre would show how graphic design is important on how to portray to different types of audience and how to organize typography in different ways.
-TUTORIAL: A tutorial on making your own fonts. What programs are out right now that are really good to create your own fonts...
-TUTORIAL: How to make 3d abstract shapes like http://www.superlover.com.au/

Chadwik12/26/2008

It would be awesome to have featured web designers each week to give tips about aesthetics and usability. This could include tutorials in designing for Web 2.0, web applications and other User Interfaces. A lot of sites show you how to build certain UIs but no one really explains the science behind it, eye tracking and functionality.

Tutorials that incorporate design and javascript libraries (jQuery, Prototype or mootools) would be neat too.

Jonathan Solichin12/26/2008

Cool idea. I would like to see a tutorial on this style of effect.
http://sick-osiris.deviantart.com/art/A-Silver-Lining-100266469

Thanks! Have a merry chrismas.

Geko12/26/2008

I would love to see something with the new features of CS4 suite. Also i would like to see some Inspiration involving flash. I love how all this work toghether, a good design with a good animation

Rottn_Johnny0712/26/2008

How about an in-depth look at photomanipulation techniques. Everything from extraction, masking techniques, color matching and blending. By in-depth I mean not only a tutorial about how it was done, but why the technique was used. A lot of tutorials show you how to do it, but never mention why it was done that way. Giving a designer the knowledge to complete his or her own creation is what a tut should be all about I think.

Merry Christmas to all at Abduzeedo!
You've got a great site and with questions like this it will get even better!!

KobiChhobi12/26/2008

I would love to see a lot more tutorials on Professional Photo Retouching.

Andrick12/26/2008

I would like to see some in depth tutorials on certain Photomanipulation techniques, as well as a tutorial on the "Abduzeedo 2 Years" wallpaper.

For articles, I'd like to see a "Tutorials of the month", where the best tutorials found for that month from sites all around the web are posted.

echo5-712/26/2008

hmmm,
how to network for designers.

Aronil12/26/2008

Wow, I'm surprised I haven't stumbled onto your site sooner. You have got some fabulous stuff here. After browsing the site a bit more, the style of your tutorials are more to my taste - the psychedelic feel and all. I'd love to know how to create some really cool effects like these here http://www.hongkiat.com/blog/40-impressive-product-ads-you-dont-see-in-m...

The works are fabulous. Either that or if you can write up on some tutorials on how to create your own blog theme be it on drupal or wordpress.

Great job on the site and i'll be coming back for more :)

Danilo SORRISO12/26/2008

Hello Adbuzeedo and Fábio Sasso,

I Visit Abduzeedo every single day to check new tutorials and mostly the Daily Inspiration, but I think there's a lack of stuff in this site about theorical topics, like Color Theory, Softwares "Engines" and Typology. Articles about "How it Works" should help various aspects of design and not only focus on a specific point.
I would also enjoy reading articles about vectorial art =]

Congratulations for your great website!
Danilo

Zoomrix12/26/2008

I'd love to see more elements manipulation tutorials, things such a integrating images of water and fire with other photographs.
Thanks. :)

www.zoomrix.com

iko_g12/26/2008

1. i love this site but sometimes it is not just enough to see design inspirations. maybe when you interview designers and showcase their work and you can include a tutorial on any of the techniques used by the featured designer. it doesnt need to be a comprehensive tutorial, maybe just a few hints on how he or she did a certain project.

2. an article on the "most overused design techniques" (of all time or of 2008/ a certain period)

3. DesignHelp section - questions from readers, answered in one detailed post

Daedalus12/26/2008

For a tutorial, I would suggest posting an article on Photoshoping art and images from scratch, rather than photomanipulation. Or possibly feature the compatibility of Photoshop with other Adobe software, and certain tools within that work hand-in-hand with those other programs, ie. Vanishing Point filter, etc.

As for articles, maybe a Featurette of Abduzeedo users' personal sites and portfolios.

Natalia12/26/2008

JoshBeaton12/26/2008

I would love to see an article on current design trends. We could all see if we are just following in trends, or breaking them.

saud12/26/2008

I would love to see a really good easy tutorial on using and skinning wordpress as a cms for websites. Some more basic to advanced icon design tutorials would be a plus.

Ian Suri12/27/2008

I would love to see a tutorial on taking a layout designed and completed in PS easily turned into website ready HTML or CSS coding.

Love the site guys, great tuts- as always!
Happy Holidays,

Ian

heavenzART12/27/2008

Everything about this site is perfect, I'm a new designer and i would like to see more coding in the tutorials, from psd to html/css, just to have that start all newbies need to be launched in this wonderful world of design... Merry Christmas & A Happy New Year :)

faberdesign12/27/2008

I'd like to see some more photography based tutorials. Not just the kind that take an image and make it all fanciful and dream-world-ly, but the kind that take a well-composed image and 'develop' it into a nice wall-worthy photograph. Tutorials could be in Photoshop, or even some lightroom techniques and accompanying presets could be cool.

Madara12/27/2008

I would like to see a tutorial taking a basic WordPress theme and turn it into a unique premium theme.

Christian12/27/2008

I love the site and it has helped me grow as a designer exponentially in the last year or so. I'm normally primarily vector based but this usually has more photoshop... i like the tutorials that mix the two.
I love the whole site tho
but what I really want to see is more conceptual and high-art articles and tuts... I'm about to go to grad school for graphic design/oil painting... In my opinion, a big part of making graphic design in to a gallery respected art form people need to be analyzing their decisions more... why they chose to do what they chose to do... i think that the best designers, the ones that are pushing the boundaries and are two years ahead of the curve, are the people who have worked to push their work's conceptual side

anyways,
much love,
cheers,
christian

LuckyGirl12/28/2008

I don't know enough about what I don't know to realize what I need to know. So, um, just keep surprising me!

oolong12/28/2008

Show us jummy logo designes!

ES12/28/2008

I'd like to see an article on finding inspiration for design ideas.

Alex C12/28/2008

I would love to see some book or more print tutorials! Possibly on how to create a really cool book cover, etc...

Carbon12/28/2008

I'd like some tutorials on icon design. They seem to be growing in our design needs, (Things like app store apps and such need them.) and I would like to know how to make them a little better. :)

Tom12/28/2008

hello fabio, and merry late xmas to you too!

first of all i have to say that abduzeedo is my source number 1. the tuts, the posts and the community around here is so fantastic and good and skilled, i wouldnt know what to do without you guys and girls, thank you for beeing here!

my wish(es) for 2009 are some special illustrator tuts, like that stunning effect from franz ( fudgegraphics ) retro/futuristic curves, the hammer. its the first time that i played with that "blend effect".
im typography addicted so it woul be great if you can make a special community font for us designers, or let us make one for you?

what i would like to see on this community page is a tut on making a webpage in photoshop with slicing ( css and xhtml ) and then port it into a cms. sure there are many out there, but i dont know any :/

i also would like to see some tuts on creating characters, monsters or robots in illustrator and finish them in photoshop.and since im a beginner they should be "easy"

what if abduzeedo goes out and visits some studios, show them their work, feature them here too? that would help us getting know each other a little better.

in the last month i was searching for a printshop that makes it possible to print my business cards. i finally found one but my cards are boring, no effect, no rounded corners. i saw alot of gallerys out there featuring the best of the best and the best of the bestbest cards - okay, but where did they print them. what special effect or cutting job was it what they used for their cards? so, it would be nice if the community share some secrets of printing, printshops, pages around the globe. and not enough, a special category for fliers, wallpapers generally because its very important to me.

cant learn enough from you all

is it possible that abduzeedo is hosting a special poster competition, or theme competition in future? i dont need any price if i win, i would contribute bc of the learning purpose. and you?

maybe the community can create some special abduzeedo-photoshop actions for pictures ( retro, sharpening, cutting, frames, colours..) a unique brushset, or something like that.

Lucas Tetrault12/29/2008

I think it would be great if you could put up some simple techniques every so often. I come across friends and colleagues alike who tend to ask me the simplest things sometimes that I thought were common Photoshop knowledge. It'd be great if there was a credible source out there (such as Abduzeedo)that I could direct them to - not only for simple techniques but to help them advance in their Photoshop and design skills.

Thanks and Happy Holidays!

idblack12/30/2008

I think the best one is making a complete tutorial on special issue, almost every website are giving tutorial how to make this effect or this poster and everything related to that but it is very difficult to found a special tutorial for explaining a complete related to a one tool,it would be great if abduzeedo can classified their tutorial and explain it completely, ex: tutorial for masking, brushes, action, layer style, liquify, drawing, concept and etc hence those are the most important thing in designing so in other words abduzeedo become the online learning source for graphic design completely, so later on when we need a special trick when working we know where to go,and what if abduzeedo make a new content for showing the member skills after following so many tutorial from here? sure it will make abduzeedo proud and suggest the other member to learn more. Make a contest frequently or challengge the member,so we can interact not just reading and commenting article, or the easiest why like giving us an end result design and challengge us to replicate it, this will increase the member skills rapidly. One more thing i used to read the interview but i felt a little bit bored, because i will know what are abduzeedo asking about for these designer, i think that's all thank you for giving us a chance to give idea. Keep moving on :)

agallegos12/30/2008

A tutorial on designing logos for experiences would be good.

Roberto12/30/2008

I think some people know how to do awesome effects, but don't know some simple tips, like how to find the exact center of an image, how to use Smart Objects, how to use blending modes and how Layer Comps work, just to say some.
Personally, I would like some typography tips, and some PSD-HTML tutorials.
I wish you the best for the new year, thanks for the cools stuff, and good luck in any future projects.

TommyFerrell01/04/2009

now did I miss something or when is the winner to be pronounced?
