Colorful and Organic Illustrations by Alexander Tyapochkin

October 16, 2009 from amanda's blog

Russian-based illustrator, Alexander Tyapochkin's work is full of life. His excellent use of color instantly caught my eye. What won me over though was his combination of great color palettes, messy offbeat shapes and organic style, and still somehow maintaining a sense of unity throughout.

I try to make my works maximum colorful, emotional and dynamic with positive energy. I create bright stories using modern graphic. I like to combine modern digital art with traditional drawing, using ink, paints and textures. Such a way gives me maximum possibility to realize my ideas.

Be sure to check out his Flickr or Behance for more from Alexander, and you can also get in contact with me through Twitter or Facebook!

A short time ago Fabio wrote a tutorial showing us how to create an image inspired by Andy Gilmore's work. I really liked that technique and decided that it would be cool to do something like that in Fireworks as well.
