Wave Series by Tom Veiga - New Artworks and a Video

Back in 2009 we showcased here the Stylish Wave Series by Tom Veiga. Tom is a very talented brazilian artist that uses waves as his main inspiration, using design as a tool to reflect waves and all their characteristics using few lines, highlighting color, movement and contrast. Tom Veiga has a lot of new artworks to show and he also made a collection for Billabong, so check it out to know more about it.

In september of 2010 the Marketing Director from Billabong Girls Europe got in touch with Tom and asked him to be a guest artist in one of their collections. In January of 2011 Tom started the creative process and created three exclusive arts for Billabong, images that would take Brasil's colors, movement and happiness to Europe. The collection is called "Tom Veiga for Billabong" and we have a really nice video about it to show you.

"My art is the union of design and waves, in my artworks I always try to translate in lines, shapes, colors and contrasts all the inspiration I get from waves."

Tom was the first brazilian artist to do a collection for Billabong Europe and it's a great honor for us, Brazilians, to present his work here. Hans Gangoly and Irene Kristiner began working together in 1997 to found in 2007 the office with their names. With projects in different areas of architecture, accumulate awards for its projects in Austria.

Hans Gangoly was born in 1959 in the town of Oberwart in Austria and Irene Kristiner was born in 1968 in Weiz. Both studied at the Graz University of Technology, Hans received his degree in 1988 and Irene in 1997. Working together since 1997, decided to found his own firm 10 years later, called Gangoly & Kristiner.

With a team of professionals working in the office based in Graz, has developed projects in the commercial and residential interiors including shops. They work very well with cultural projects, designing with high quality revitalization and transformation of buildings and uses.
