Scott Biersack is a young Illustrator from Arizona who specializes in Lettering. Scott is only 20 years old but has some amazing skills with free hand lettering and also illustrating them on the computer. Enjoy!
Goodtype The Book Volume One is a compilation of curated typography work from 175 artists worldwide. Each featured artist showcases two pieces: a work in progress sketch and the final piece. The collection encompasses a multitude of lettering styles from hand lettering, to computer generated 3D-type, to hand painted murals, to traditional calligraphy. With over 2,000 typography work submissions, they just picked the cream of the crop.
Nike is one of my favorite brands, the reason might be because of the simplicity of its brand. Clean, elegant and iconic. The Nike symbol, the swoosh, is the pinnacle of simple and recognizable form. I myself have always loved to play with that symbol, my favorite being a composition titled Nike Hair.
