Josh Poehlein is a Rochester Institute of Technology Photography Graduate. I stumbled upon his work the other day and I really dug it. His pieces are the perfect mix of photography and doodling - something I rarely (if ever) see. I find this to be a very interesting approach so I figured it might be nice to share some of his work with you today. He calls this collection "Borderlands".

Anyway, the other night I was looking through ffffound for some inspiration and came across these really golden glamorous shots. The beauty of ffffound is that when you find an image you like, be prepared to find at least 30 more good ones. I started running into so many wonderful photographs that I decided to compile this collection for you guys today.

Reader Tutorial: Cartoon Character in Photoshop

November 16, 2009
I have been thinking of doing a cartoon version of one of my favorite characters, Agatha Christies’ Detective Hercule Poirot, always portrayed as a strong willed and serious man. Doing such an intellectual and grumpy looking character in a cartoon fashion sounded like a funny idea to me. So I got my pencil and drew and colored it entirely on Photoshop CS3.
