Geometric Print Design by Jorge Leon

March 23, 2010 from amanda's blog

Designing for print is one aspect of graphic design that I'm really crazy about. I'm digging Spanish designer, Jorge Leon's work a lot--clean, simple, geometric elements, slightly monochromatic with a burst of bright color here and there. It's a style that has swept the design community and doesn't seem to be going away anytime soon. I, for one, am very glad about that!

Check out more from Jorge over at his portfolio and let me know what you think via twitter!

I'm a really fan of Peter Jaworowski aka The Hejz, I even wrote a tutorial for PSDTUTS showing an effect inspired by one of the Peter's amazing works. Then last week, Cameron and Bobby, gave me some tips on how create those light streaks, and that is what I will share with you in this post.

The wallpaper of this week is an image created by François Leroy, a graphic designer and illustrator from Paris, France. He studied traditional art in school in Paris. At the same time he started to be interested by digital art and it became a real passion to him. I define myself fully in this dynamic generation for which internet and interactive are major words.
