Motion Design: Why Incompetent People Think They're Amazing

The WWW (Wonderful Women at Wednesday Studio) invited Eze Matteo to collaborate animating some bits of this piece for Ted that explains why incompetent people think they’re amazing. It's a quite awesome piece of motion design and illustration. Below you can see the video and also a few stills that Eze got to work on.  As most of the TED Talks, the message is quite powerful and delivered in a short but effective fashion. This example also illustrates how motion design helps to communicate a message.

This effect is a cognitive phenomenon wherein people of low ability suffer from illusory superiority. The aim of this film is to help us to discover wether we are as good at things as we think we are.

Eze Matteo is an art director from Barcelona, Spain with an incredible portfolio. For more information make sure to check out http://ezematteo.com/
