Back in October, we covered the LYNK & CO launch in Berlin for the reveal of their Model 01; that will hit the market later this year, starting in China followed by Europe and USA in 2019. Today at the Shanghai International Auto Show, they are taking it one step closer to launch by unveiling the all-new 03 concept. A bold, mid-size and sporty sedan with a classic look that will feature free connectivity and lifetime product warranty for all the other cars including this concept. This model, as well as all the following LYNK & CO cars, is based around connectivity. Customers will find a range of connected technologies on offer in the vehicles, all aimed at making life easier. All models come with a large central touchscreen and telematics systems that are always connected to the internet and the car’s own cloud. The LYNK & CO brand will also provide its users with personalized services, an open API, unrivalled connectivity with vehicle sharing at its heart, e-commerce, and the first dedicated app store for cars. Over the course of the next 12 to 24 months, a new range of premium, state-of-the-art cars at the most accessible of price points will be introduced, with the aim of challenging and redesigning the way in which automotive products are bought, owned and consumed across the world. The key aim of LYNK & CO is to enrich and simplify vehicle ownership through connectivity, e-commerce and by addressing the needs and preferences of a new global generation of customers. O3 Concept We started with some clear defining ambitions: to look solid, have an imposing presence and to make a striking visual impression. It’s always impressive that somehow you’ll look at a photograph and you’re not even sure if it’s real or not. I am especially talking about car photographs, we understand that is a tremendous amount of work to just finding the location, getting the equipment, getting the special car and crew to just organize everything together. What if there’s another route? Let’s not pick a side, let’s rather enjoy the stunning CGI work from Onur Dursun who has been a CGI artist for more than 10 years currently based in Stuttgart, Germany. With that much experience to craft his skills, Onur has been rocking in art direction, retouching and of course automotive design. Experienced with over 10 years in Computer Generated Imagery (CGI). Gleb Kuznetsov shared some quite beautiful motion design projects for Automotive UI. on his Dribbble page. They seem to be for the new Fantasy Auto Lab project done by the amazing people over at Fantasy, a Human-centered UI & UX studio based in New York and Silicon Valley. One of the reasons I thought it would be cool to share this projects is because it has a Tron look, quite different from what we have been seeing since flat design, if that is even a style, became popular. There's much more to love than just the style. The animations and details are top notch and make me want to see the full project. Auto UI - Motion Design Gleb Kuznetsov is a design director with 15+ years of experience in product design, User interfaces, Usability area including automotive, mobile OS, Apps, Web, TV, Ecosystems, more than 500 B2C projects. It has been an exciting ride as that is our first international unveiling for Abduzeedo. The open platform also welcomes collaborations with developers and other creative minds to introduce new applications and experiences into the automotive world - Alain Visser, Senior Vice President of LYNK & CO. The car has a share button, enabling the driver to generate rental income via a shareable digital key. The car owners can remotely grant people access to drive the car. Via the LYNK & CO app they control, monitor and share their car from their smartphone – or directly from their car. Model 01: City The open API, connected to numerous sensors in the car, and the dedicated LYNK & CO app store open up endless opportunities for third party developers to invent new apps and for users to personalize, enrich and expand the automobile experience. They are beautiful, expensive, symbol of luxury; aren't they really? I am talking about magnificence automotive cars, only a certain amount of people will ever be able to afford one of those. Actually, if we think just a little deeper, what's so definitive about these "exotic cars", I mean we can take any cars and strap the logo and make it our own right? Actually no, there's a reason why these cars are so pricey. I would say the quality and durability of shorts is the reasons why you would want to get a luxury car. The marketing of the brand is also another factor that contributes to the finesse of it all, through this process we'll have photography work done too. Let's take a closer look at the work from Marc Trautmann Since 1993, Freelance photographer with a focus on automotive and people. About Marc Trautmann Marc is a photographer based in Frankfurt, Germany. Working mainly in photography and digital photography, Marc had the opportunity to work with car brands like: BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Lamborghini, Porsche, Jaguar and more. I found Kim's work on Instagram and was instantly hooked to her Traveling Cars Adventures series. As she says at her website, the series shows her little toy cars in dramatic situations. And I gotta say it is hard for you not to fall in love with her toy cars and embark on their journey. Kim is currently lives in London where she is studying Photography at the University of the Arts London. Her pictures are delicate and inspiring. You can totally put together a whole background story for her little cars. I'm a total fan of her pics and I had to share them here with you. Take a look! My name is Kim Leuenberger, I was born in 1992 in the North West of Switzerland in a region called Jura. As the regions is quite small and lost in between two chains of mountains, I started to travel a lot around Europe, hungry to discover more of the world and be a real explorer. I always liked photography and started it at a very young age, however I only owned my own dslr for my nineteenth Birthday. It has been love at first sight with a little nikon d3100. Almost 2 years I've upgraded to a Canon 5d mark iii and learned all I know about photography by myself, by reading magazines or websites. I now use a range of different cameras to capture the car series, with an Olympus EM5 mkII and sometimes a LeicaQ. I love being creative with my photography as well as documenting the life around me. I love making objects and tell a story through my pictures, music is my biggest inspiration, I named many of my pictures after songs of my favorite artists (Mumford and Sons, Ben Howard, etc..) And don't forget, we are all explorers of this beautiful world! There's nothing better than starting the week off with some inspiring photos from old cars modified to cross the desert at massive speed. It sounds like the plot for a new Mad Max movie and the work that Christopher Wilson shared on his Behance profile titled Bonneville Speed Week could definitely be a part of the movie series. The images are quite stunning, especially the mood evoked and the more I get myself into photography more I'm inspired by beautiful photography work. For more information about Christopher make sure to check out this work at http://www.christopherwilsonphotography.com/ Part of a campaign of imagery documenting Speed Week at the Bonneville Salt Flats.

Olivier Gamiette is a self-taught designer from Paris, France. With the main interest of bringing new exciting ideas to life Olivier today works for Peugeot as Senior Designer in Paris. In this project he showed us how he rendered children's sketches into incredible car designs. It's awesome to see the evolution of the basic sketches to the final result and how much of the basic concept kept unchanged. Oliview brought six children's car sketches to life by rendering them as a prize for the 'Draw Me The Car of 2020' design competition, launched in collaboration with the french children's magazine Okapi. The six 9-14 year old winners – Clement, Thomas, Tom, Lena, Leo and Gaspard – were able to see their dream cars realized with my personal photoshop rendering method. I presented the first placed winner, Clément, with a 270mm by 140mm model of his design at an awards ceremony held at the cPeugeot's design center in Velizy, France. I shared with the young winners my thoughts and inspiration behind their designs. . It was totally amazing and so magical for them to discover their sketch reinterpreted in a realistic rendering drawing. They were very proud and some of them already know they would like to become car designers .. Details For more information visit: http://www.behance.net/gamiette

Escape Artist took the good old Formula 1 liveries and implemented them on the new cars that were being used this 2013 season. The result is a mix of retro x new. As we all can agree the retro liveries had so much character and bring such good memories. Enjoy! For more visit Escape Artist. We've been spending our evenings transplanting some of the best liveries from the last couple of decades of F1 onto a 2013 car... Maybe the McLaren would go a bit faster with this old livery!
Today I was reading about HDR and decided to get some inspiration on the subject. I am a super fan of HDR photos and we've been posting about it since the very first year of the blog. It's incredible to see how popular HDR has become and I'm still amazed by the visual style this technique can give to photos. Atomicpixal demonstrates this beautifully with some HDR photos of cars that look like legit illustrations of hot rods. I have been a Freelance Photographer for a very long time. I enjoy post processing images as well as taking them. I moved to Menifee two years ago from Oceanside and I love the area. I also collect antique cameras. I am an old darkroom photographer that has been converted to the digital world. Looking forward to meeting everyone.
If you are fan of nice cars and good movies, chances are you have seen these cars on the movies before. But now they are completely illustrated by Spanish graphic designer Jesús Prudencio. Enjoy! For more from Jesús Prudencio visit behance.net/jesusprudencio.
