Introducing Indika Design Agency

February 05, 2010 from aloa's blog

No, this article has nothing to do with marijuana. Indika is a design studio located in both Los Angeles and New York. It was founded in 1994 by James Verdesoto & Vivek Mathur and specializes in the creation of print campaigns for Feature Films, Network Television, Cable as well as Home Entertainment clients.

They have won over 15 of The Hollywood Reporter's Key Art Awards and created artwork for more than 400 campaigns

Indika is named after the book written by Megasthenes, one of Alexander The Great's generals, about the world of riches that they saw on their journet to conquer the world

Photoshop Quick Tips: Neon with Layer Styles
I have posted about how to create the neon effect in Photoshop a couple of times, however I still get emails from readers asking me how I did the light effect I use on the Abduzeedo logo. So I decided to simplify the process and show you how to create the this effect in very simple steps using basically Layer Styles and a few brushes. Step 1 Open Photoshop and create a new document. I'm using 1920x1200 pixels. Fill the background with black.
