Cultural centers are always places where the architects like to dare in his works, and the Montrose Cultural Centre building, Canada, is an example of architecture applied boldly and lightness in the right.
Project by Teeple Architects is from 2009, but still worth a mention here. A building that became the heart and the attraction of the Grand Prairie city, proposed with a horizontal volume and a very strong marking on the main entrance by overlapping coverages, and abuse of openings in glass, showing the natural light at the day and scoring the empty with internal light at night. A beautiful building and worth every photo!
