ONEHUNDRED Project

I started the project in fall 2009. The idea was to create a poster which includes landscape and grunge elements. Therefore I commenced collecting some images. Not all photos are taken by myself but some friends helped me.

The landscape moves from the green mountains in argentina to the cold icefields at the northpole. For the most part I tried to capture the characteristic color of each terretory and apply a grunge effect that matches. Also I wanted to achieve a huge vareity of different color schemes.

For these effects I used Photoshop. It really took some time to create 100 different patterns.About 20-40min for each pattern.

A major aspect of the project is the connection between nature and the numbers. This represens the calculated beauty of natural elements and how they get destroyed.
