The Parker Backpack
The Parker Backpack from Herschel Supply Co. is a compact and useful backpack built for students and commuters in the mobile computing era. The discrete and stylish diagonal zipper and pleated front pocket offer a welcome change from the usual cookie-cutter backpacks with zippers running up and down all over the place. The 15” laptop sleeve pocket helps you tuck in your laptop or tablet while you’re commuting or otherwise occupied. There’s also an internal media pocket that keeps your media device safe and out of sight while allowing the headphone cord to pass right through. The backpack is built to last and lined with coated cotton-poly fabric. You can get the Parker Backpack in a range of colors including black, khaki, camouflage, grey and a navy blue and red combination. (at The Gadget Flow)
Just because you want to listen to music wirelessly around your home or apartment, doesn't mean you need to go and replace all the speakers you've accumulated over the years. With Beep — a small Wi-Fi enabled device that connects to any stereo or speaker system with an RCA jack, auxiliary input, or optical input — you can play music to any connected speaker or group of speakers from your iOS or Android phone. With the ability to synchronize music across a range of Beeps, you can play your music throughout your place, or choose different music for different Beeps. While it only currently has built in support for Pandora, plenty of other app support is on its way. (at Uncrate)
ASUS unveiled its new Chromebox packing Intel's fourth-generation Haswell processors today. The most compact Chromebox yet, the computer comes sporting either Intel's Celeron 2955U or i3-4010 processor. Another i7 version of the box will be available outside of North America. Under the hood you'll get Intel-integrated HD graphics and 16GB of onboard storage. If you need more room to store your stuff, ASUS is also offering buyers 100GB of free cloud storage through Google Drive. Display-wise, the i3 and i7 Chromebox supports 4K Ultra High-Definition displays, and all three have HDMI and DisplayPort out ports for dual-monitor capabilities. You'll also find four USB 3.0 ports on the device, as well as a built-in SD card reader. (at Engadget)
