The Powerful and Elegant Uniopt Pachleitner Headquarters

April 06, 2011 from fabiano's blog

Designed to be a landmark in the city of Graz in Austria, the building of Uniopt Pachleitner was part of a contest among more than 9 escítórios, and the winner was this, the pair of architects GS Architects.

The project follows exactly the main points of the briefng of customer Michael Pachleitner, it should be powerful and elegant. He passed references such as pictures of planes, boats and cars that showed what he really wanted to this building. Nicknamed "Black Panther" has turned him into a landmark in the city and even brought a lot of potential for growth in this whole area that was built. Basically it is a solid concrete structure covered with facades of dark glass, but the way it was designed shows the differential architecture of this building.

The light-filled interior of the building was designed with few colors and a variety of materials. With a few serial chairs and tables all the equipment of the building was designed by the architect.

Book Suggestion: Timeline of Graphic Design in Brazil
As the name implies, this book (but I dare call a Bible) tells the story of graphic design in Brazil in a very intelligent way and brings a wealth of incredible images and with a touch of nostalgia for most Brazilians.
