Rubik's Cube Inspiration

July 08, 2008 from PauloGabriel's blog

Everyone has experienced at least once the frustration of not solving a Rubik's Cube. And that's like a BIG frustration, at least for me.

And one thing I've never seen before was ads for the Cube, I mean, did anyone ever seen any before? Well, I've just crossed to 3 of these at Adgoodness, and decided to put up some inspiration for you guys. Here are also some really incredible video of a dude solving the friggin' cube in 9 seconds. If that doesn't get you inspired, and all jumpy to solve you Cube, I don't know what in the world will. Cheers! ;p

I like that effect but had never stopped to think about how I could do that in Photoshop, so last week I decided to give it a try. For my surprise it was much easier than I thought. So in this tutorial I will show you how to create the linen texture effect in Photoshop and also the metal/glass effect we see in the Apple logo in the iOS.
