Barbany Ward, aka somefield, is an artist that lives in Barbados (yeap, a paradise) and has some pretty stylish and unique pieces to show. His artworks are just great. His style, the color's combinations, the characters, the atmosphere, everything matches perfectly.

Barnaby ward has a wife, some cats, and a website. He lives on a small island and spends far too much money on gas and too little time at the beach. He works primarily on a computer as he finds this to be the neatest, easiest and least stressful way to draw.

I live and work in barbados. Somefield was developed as a blog name/art moniker that wasn't 'Barnaby Ward'. I wanted to go with something that was vague, that could refer to anything, but also had an interesting ring to it. I don't really consider the website a portfolio, as most of the drawings I've done were for personal reasons. The primary purpose was to make my drawings publicly viewable rather than trying to use it to pursue illustration work. although if work comes from it, that's good too.
