Web Picks is a new series here on Abduzeedo. The idea of the articles is to choose a subject, and present photography, artwork, designs, illustrations and tutorials we find on the topic; and put them together. When designing we tend to forget to look at mediums other than the one we are currently working in. We hope this series will illustrate the many dimensions a single subject can have, and provide cross-format insight for each subject
The wallpaper of this week is an image created by Alex Beltechi for the 5th Anniversary of Abduzeedo. Alex Beltechi is an artist and designer based in the city of Oradea, Romania. Although a student at a Visual Arts University, he also teaches the tools of his trade through various blogs and magazines.
Alex frequently experiments with a wide range of tools and techniques, more recently culminating in illustrated typography. If he's not found scribbling design schemes, you may find him pestering the world with his amateur photography or slamming piano keys furiously.
