One of the best ways to promote yourself and your work is through forums. Besides of that, you have an excellent opportunity to talk to other designers and learn a lot from them, sharing ideas and discussing nice topics.
Your Design Forums is without any doubt a great design forum.
One of the design styles I like the most is that with vintage images collages, mixed with handwritten texts, stains, spots, and tons of dirty things. It's fantastic the crazy things they come up with, like a person with a bird's head and stuff like that.

My last article I showed some of the coolest designs I saw in 2007. There were really amazing pieces of work in that list, from designers from all parts of the world and various styles.
This last december was a bit odd, I was robbed, they took my laptop and 2 iPods, I had all my backups and all my clients jobs in those, for sure one of the most delicate situations in my life, I didn’t know what to do. So I decided to start a blog and save some of the jobs I done and share them with everyone. This would allow me to promote myself too.
In these last 12 months I’ve seen lots of really good designs, they have inspired me and helped me to get over this unfortunate incident.
Thanks to a new friend I got an invitation to The Behance Network. Basically it’s a network for creative people to promote their work, but much more than that, its a platform for projects and collaboration. As they slogan says "make ideas happen".

The TrimarchiDg is over and I’m back to my routine. The trip to Argentina was really good, I have been to Buenos Aires two years ago and going back there was a pleasant opportunity.
Today, October 15th is the Blog Action Day. Bloggers around the web will unite to write about a single important issue on everyone's mind. In this year the issue will be the environment.

Cape Town in South Africa is a very beautiful place, as I said before in the One week in South Africa post. While I was there I took lots of pictures, basically everything I thought would be useful or inspiring.
