Neil Duerden is an experienced designer/illustrator from UK and in this interview he is sharing a bit of his work life and also giving some tips for the young designers, and you get a little taste of his work while you read, check it out.
Typography is one of those fields of design that really get my attention. Checking some sweet types, from all kinds, is a total pleasure for me, but there's one kind that get the most of my attention, and it is 3D typography.
When I was a child, there were a bunch of cool games... the Sonic ones, the Mickey ones, the Donald Duck ones, etc. But these were all "cute"... then, after sometime, with the evolution of video game, it was delivered to us a game that kicked butt: Metal Gear Solid.
OmeN2501, actually called Marek Okon, lives in Lublin, Poland, has 28 years old and an amazing talent! He started his graphic adventures in advertising and some years ago decided to do some more serious digital painting. Right now he is doing mostly book covers and concepts for various publishers and game studious.
Christian Petersen, aka mone, is a 33 years old web designer from Hamburg, Germany which has a degree in Communication, Media Design specifically. Christian has been practicing graffiti since he was 18 and he likes to create characters at walls, canvas or with clay. He got in touch with Abduzeedo to present us the M1-Design website, his portfolio.
Phil Dunne is an illustrator from Dublin, Ireland, which spent the last 29 years drawing, painting, doodling and having amazingly creative thoughts. From 1999 to 2003 Phil was studying at the National College of Art and Design (NCAD) in Dublin to get his degree in Visual Communications. After graduating he started to built his portfolio with several different projects and clients.
Yesterday I published a nice post about Abstract 3D art so I decided to make another 3D post today about 3D graffiti. Those designs were really cool, but even more impressive are the sprayed graffitis that some artists already painted in walls.

The Abduzeedo team really loves 3D artwork. We are often checking some sweet inspiration all over the web... from 3D typography to CG portraits. We're all into it! You may use 3D to design virtually anything, but a really nice way to use 3D is to create abstract renders and edit them in Photoshop.This is a really cool and colorful style of graphic design.
Here in Brazil there's a magazine called "Super Interessante" (which had an Abduzeedo cover a little time ago), that always features some really cool infographics. This is a field that if you make things right, you got yourself inside a great niche.
