Concept Art is an amazing way to put on paper your ideas and thoughts. We usually get to see futuristic architecture and automotive concepts, mainly because that's probably the coolest thing to do. But this guy, Philip Straub, came up with some nightmarish pieces, somewhat disturbing.
All I can tell you about this artist is that he lives in the United States, I know, that's not enough and it's sad because, I really would like to know more about him. I found his profile at Deviantart and It´s very cool finding artists like him with such personality. The way he works with colors is amazing, very vivid and unique. I hope you enjoy it.
Since I joined DeviantART in August 22nd, 2005, I've got to know a new world of artists that I couldn't even image. Artists such as Artgerm, Cris Vector, Will Murai and many others. One of my all time favorites is Francisco Perez, the fantastic Pacman23.
It's always great to find an awesome designer, illustrator, or whatever, when you least expect it. This happened yesterday, when Hazim Hamid contacted us, asking us to look at this portfolio, and wow. It was a really visual pleasure.
A cool texture will pimp your designs for sure... and from time to time, we find the best resources so that you don't have to do it. Also, if you got plenty textures, you may practice a lot, trying different styles of texture, from wood to rock, and other stuff.

Lately I've been working in a new identity for a local company, and their only request is that it has to be a only type logo. Then I started researching some typographic logos at Logopond, and it was a great step in my concept development.

Since we had posts on skateboard design and rollerblading, I thought it would be proper to find some snowboard designs and showcase it for you guys. I found some pretty cool stuff, and even a design that was probably inspired by two of our tutorials.
This guy creates insane toy art with the sickest designs I've seen in a while, you have to see with your eyes and tell me if it doesn't make you want to have one of these. Jason also creates awesome tattoos, and great digital illustrations.
