If there's one superhero that I totally dig, that superhero is the Green Lantern. Actually, any of them... because the Green Lantern Corps are one of the greatest inventions of the comics world, ever. A super powerful ring moved by will? Awesome! The GL is so cool I just had to select some cool illustrations for you guys.
Anna Anjos is a graphic designer and illustrator from São Paulo, Brazil, she started very young creating the internal drawings of her mother's book. Anna's work and style is very unique, there's a lot of personality and a very well use of textures and colors.
You know what I love about illustrations? It's neverending. Johannes Aagaard is a graphic designer from Denmark with a nice set of works mixing typography illustration with some photo manipulations. I specially like some of his new designs: the Culture, Underwater Project, Half Awake and How Things Turn. Some are very geometric while others more organic, but all very well done.
Barbany Ward, aka somefield, is an artist that lives in Barbados (yeap, a paradise) and has some pretty stylish and unique pieces to show. His artworks are just great. His style, the color's combinations, the characters, the atmosphere, everything matches perfectly.
Lately I'm on a gaming fever. Video games have been a part of my life since ever, and there are some games that just stand out, for its quality, and most of all, for its badassness. Yeah, we love badass games, like the awesome God of War.
During daytime David Lanham works for the Iconfactory producing some really beautiful and unique icons. After Iconfactory he has a late shift to keep producing art, and that is when he produces really cool illustration and other creations. David is very talented, has a great sense of humor and a very good portfolio.
HelloVon is the studio established in 2006 by the 29 years old London based illustrator and artist Von. We will show here some great illustrations from his impressive portfolio. Von has already worked for clients like American Express, Nike, Penguin, Havana Club, Habitat, Playboy, Rolling Stone and many others.
Gustavo Sobral is an graphic designer and illustrator from Brazil with such a great talent in creating characters.
