Russia always fascinated me, I believe it is because of the Constructivism art movement that played a big role in the design history. Quite a few Constructivists ended up teaching at the Bauhaus, and of course in the 80's Ian Anderson founded The Designers Republic, heavily influenced by the Russian Constructivism.
