We often get to see some cool Star Wars references. Memorabilia, parody videos, and many many other things... we even had a full article about the Star Wars Culture one year ago. One way that people often find to celebrate these fantastic movies, is by illustrating it!

We all have to agree that Benetton already marked their spot in the advertising world with their famous United Colors of Benetton campaigns. We can all remember at least one of the hundred clever, colorful and sometimes controversial Benetton's ads. The first slogan to appear was 'All the colors of the world', that later was replaced by the famous 'United Colors of Benetton'. The concept of united colors was so strong that for the first time in its history, the company adopted the slogan as its actual logo.

I find truly fantastic when an artist gets to think about something that no one else thought before. For example, take a 80's super classic cartoon such as The Masters of the Universe and add fashion itens in a cool way and BAM! You got yourself one awesome set of illustrations. Ok, talking is way easier than doing, and that's why I find these illustrations by Adrian Riemann pretty awesome. The guy found out a really clever way to redesign the characters. In his own words:

I'm designing my new portfolio, and lately I've been checking many sites to get somekind of reference for inspiration. One of the main style that I've check as a cool trend is the Grain Texture, that can be done really easily in Fireworks. So I've made a list of sites that use this simple, yet awesome texture!
