A while ago we featured a post about Trey Ratcliff's Wonderful HDR Images. Since our readers really liked the first post and Trey has a lot of incredible new photos at his website, Stuck in Customs, I decided to make a "sequence" of it.
I'm sure it doesn't come as a surprise to you guys by now that I'm a photography-enthusiast at it's finest, so from now on I'll be posting on different and sometimes unconventional photography techniques that I enjoy.
Summer is upon us and there’s nothing like a road trip to kick start the season. As many of you may already know, I am Amanda, abduzeedo’s cousin. I live in Raleigh, North Carolina and for the past two years my cousin has been staying here with me during the summers.
Photography is much more than taking a camera and snapping some photos. It gotta have art direction, understanding of illumination and of course, the whole post process involved in this equation that will make a photo really stand out. Mark Bizarro from Quito, Ecuador, shows us that he does have all those skills and also a lot of creativity that certainly make his work extraordinary.

Following my series of posts about photography, this time I have listed some really nice bokeh photos. I really love the bokeh effect that is nothing more than light out-of-focus. Of course the technique might be simple but to take a beautiful photo you need to know much more than just the technique.
As I promised at The Stunning Work of Chris McVeigh post, here I'm featuring an interview and also a photography showcase to show you a bit more about Chris and his art. As I mentioned before, I really liked his work and creativity, so I'm pretty sure you will also like to know more about this artist.
Photography, for me, is all about the spontaneity of the subject and the setting; pictures that make you think and feel. We've covered HDR, Long Exposure, Sun Flare, and many other photography techniques. But now it's about time we cover perhaps my favorite technique of all: Lomography.

Sometimes, colors are totally unnecessary. Even more, sometimes, colors might blow everything up. In photography, we got great examples of that. Here's a cool selection of black and white pictures that are totally interesting.
