Last year I was learning how to use the 3D features in Photoshop and I did an image mixing a 3D robot with a photography and some dragons in vector. After quite sometime I was checking my images and found it, so I decided to write a tutorial showing how I did that. And, also play a bit more with the new 3D features in Adobe CS4.
As a follow on from yesterday, this is the second of this style. I have reversed the process, to create a reverse processing style to the video. I feel this clearly shows a person for how the really appear. Stripping back all the work to reveal the face as it was, as it is. I hope you enjoy.
There are many touch-up videos on youtube, but not so many in depth tutorials. I've been getting a lot of requests, suggestions and questions so I've been thinking. Perhaps it's about time I do some tutorials. Now with youtube's better quality, it's possible to upload high-quality/high-def widescreen videos. This would work great for tutorials videos.
A few weeks ago I did a wallpaper for the Abduzeedo's second anniversary. It had a very 80's style from the colors to the theme that, of course, was space. In that image we had a sort of A of light, some nebulas and more rays of light. I did everything in Photoshop CS4.

In this year, 2008, that is about to end, I had the opportunity to write quite a few Photoshop tutorials for PSDTUTS, Digital Arts, and of course here on Abduzeedo. I also read lots of tutorials during the year. They've helped me create the effects I want, and most importantly, showed me different ways to use Adobe Photoshop; from Vintage Posters to really crazy photo manipulations.
Well it's been almost 7 months since I posted my last video on here and I have learned a lot of great techniques since then. The "A perfect lie in Adobe Photoshop" was a great start; however, I have learned that the techniques that I had used before may not actually be the proper way.
