When I created the very first version of Abduzeedo I did a simple logo because I didn't have much time back in 2006, I wanted the blog up and running as faster as possible. However after a few months I decided that it would be cool to have a nice and unique logo, but without using any symbol.
Today I selected 10 really amazing typo artists, with great pieces on display that will make you feel jealous, hopefully I will keep finding more amazing typo artists to keep this series going because it's very lovable. Enjoy!

Fabien Barral is a graphic designer from Clermont-Ferrand, France. Fabien has an incredible portfolio with a sort of retro style. Also he has some nice works mixing typography and floral elements, sometimes with some watercolor effects that are really cool.

Everyone has their favorite fonts. Fonts that are very versatile and work well for a variety of projects. With that in mind we asked some very well known designers and digital artists what their top 3 serif and top 3 san-serif fonts would be. Among the artists we spoke with are Eduardo Recife, Tom Lane and Radim Malinic.
Once again I went through Deviantart and found some great freebies, this time fonts, fonts that you may not even seen before and yes they are really good, check it out yourself, use and abuse them.
I wanted to provide the link to download the fonts but I think it's better if you go to the authors page and download it from there, that way you can check out more stuff from the author and give him the credits deserved.
Fabio just published the frilly bits typography tutorial now also for Fireworks, so i thought i post a little bit more about typography. Like Si Scott who includes a lot of it in his illustrations, like Fabio showed us.
Light Graffiti, also know as light painting is really cool. Now imagine mixing it with stunning typography skills. This is the result. I have no words to describe the work of Julien Breton. He's a Jedi, no questions asked.
For the last few days I've been researching a lot of Typography due to a personal project. Finding the right lettering is really difficult, but there's plenty inspiration over the internet.
