http://abduzeedo.com/taxonomy/term/1199/all en http://abduzeedo.com/tim-burton-retrospective-moma <h3>Earlier this week I attended the press preview of the upcoming <strong>MoMA</strong> Tim Burton retrospective <a href="http://www.moma.org/visit/calendar/exhibitions/313">exhibit</a>, which opens Sunday, 22 November 2009. The exhibit is a showcase of his work from childhood to the present.</h3> <p>There are paintings, sketches, figurines, sculptures, photography, video, storyboards, and props from his movies. <strong>MoMA</strong> did an excellent job of encompassing all aspects of his work. I've been a fan of his since I first saw Pee Wee's Big Adventure, but it wasn't until Beetlejuice that I truly saw his genius. The exhibit was sponsored by the <strong>Syfy </strong>channel, which I enjoy as well. </p> <p>Here are some of my photos from the exhibit. If you're in New York City, you definitely have to check it out. It's open until April 2010.
