We are sharing the work of Kateryna Zuieva who is from AKZ Architectura based in Ukraine. We are showcasing her architecture & interior design project for Blushhh! Secret Shop located in Kiev. I simply love the whole theme going on into this shop with first of all the neon lights and the minimum use of two colours for the whole store colour palette. You can't help also to notice the cool symmetry of the dressing room, overall quite a beautiful design. It must have been lovely for pictures taking. Kateryna Zuieva is the Co-Founder & Chief Architect at AKZ Architectura. We're smitten with creative ideas agency Arithmetic's branding work for La Glace, a gourmet ice cream shop located in Vancouver. The team tapped into the notion that life’s best moments are bettered when cherished together as the core sentiment to express through the design details. You immediately taste the passion and heart that was poured into the work to create an emotional brand experience for La Glace from the interior design, furniture design, branding, custom packaging, wall mural art, art direction to the custom apron and uniform design, custom ice cream vessel design, brass menu board and retail signage. The most important emotional value was for the brand and all touch points to embody love and invite connection. The overarching inspiration for the art direction was born from a fascination of the mid-war transitional period between Art Nouveau and Art Deco and those details can be found throughout the space. The end result, a beautiful marriage of two distinct periods that connects and integrates different design movements in one gorgeous setting that results in a unique brand experience. We focused on harnessing sentimentality for the past - we leveraged the idea of nostalgia to create a space that would send people somewhere romantic and trigger positive memories. Elements such as brass, marble, the rounded bar and most of all, the colour mint evoke this notion.
Let's take a look at this architecture & interior design project by Mexico-based brand studio Anagrama. Called JimJams Store, it has been created as a tribute for sports fans. The design concept was to create a balance between the sales area and the sporting environment itself. I think the overall design is conceptual where you actually would want to spend hours inside. Props to the whole team! Anagrama Studio is a brand intelligence group (Love it) based in Mexico. It's not our first time featuring their work, in fact we love what they do on ABDZ. Focusing their background in branding, graphic design, packaging; definitely check them out on Behance. JimJams es una marca creada como un tributo a los fanáticos de los deportes. We're thrilled to share the news that Airstream has just launched a new member of its iconic fleet dubbed The Globetrotter. The Globetrotter debuts this month with a list price of $99,000 and is a modern design enthusiast’s dream come true. The "silver bullet" aluminum exterior design remains, but inside it's all new. We can lend praise to Astheimer Limited, a U.K.-based design firm, for coming up with the interior design concept delivering four interior decor choices based on "dark walnut" and "natural elm" themes with cream, grey, blue, and slate color accents. Step inside and you'll be greeted with aluminum walls, panoramic windows, a curved headboard and cabinets, wraparound upholstery, Samsung LED high-definition TVs, a Polk audio system with recessed speakers, and backlighting throughout the trailer. On the exterior, a power window and awning package with Sunbrella fabrics is available. This gorgeous new model can sleep up to six people and features innovative Tuft & Needle mattresses to ensure a dreamy night's sleep. We fell in love with the interiors of Suzette, a retro chic inspired dessert bar in Singapore's Marina Bay. Not only a haven for those with a weak knee for sweets, this bite sized shop is also eye candy for anyone with a love for interiors. Enter Suzette and you will be greeted by a bar made up of customized terrazzo slabs creating a unique focal point of the shop. We're also digging the rich teal and blush color palette with copper and concrete peppered in at all the right spots. The result, a feminine space with just the right amount of edge. If you love the vibe as much as we do be sure to check out the folks over at The Strangely Good who we can thank for coming up for the overall look and feel. Bon Appetit!

We have a thing for collaborations here at Abduzeedo especially when it comes to creating a unique space to house an unlikely marriage. Mojo Design's interior design work for the rad New School Coffee and Tattoo shop in Chengdu, China had us at hello. It's not everyday you can walk in for a latte and walk out with some freshly placed permanent ink along with it. With that, you can imagine the challenge to meld the two concepts into one space creatively, comfortably and cohesively. The team at Mojo Design brings the space to life celebrating the existing structure and diverse collection of materials including exposed concrete columns, walnut cabinetry, classic chevron patterned hardwood flooring, leather banquettes and clean white subway tiles. A fetching terrarium peppered with cacti and succulents brings some liveliness to the floor and outside areas. VSCO is an editing app that I use almost every day to enhance workflow with my photography through taking photos, editing, filtering and sharing them. That being said, I am always wondering about the architecture inside the offices will look like, a behind the scenes look to see their work environment of such a genuine app that changed the way we take pictures. Designed by DeBartolo Architects, they are an architectural studio based in Phoenix, Arizona. With a philosophy of building great work by connecting and challenging the natural and urban landscape. Oakland is my hometown. It embodies how we see ourselves as a company scrappy and hard working with a diverse and international community. Practically, it’s central for Bay Area. We could have chosen anywhere but Oakland was our ideal location for the office and feel of how we see ourselves. Everything about the build out and the space is an outward extension of who we are, personally and as a company. - Joel Flory CEO & Co-Founder of VSCO Credits Design: DeBartolo Architects Photography: Mariko Reed Images via Office Snapshots
Brasserie in Four Seasons Hotel Kyoto is a photography project shared by Seth Powers on his Behance profile. I don't post too much about architecture or interior design, however this one deserved a feature, it's just awesome. I am fan of simplea and straight lines, as well as wood accents. This one has all of that in a grand way. Brasserie restaurant & lounge in Four Seasons Kyoto, Japan. Designed by Shanghai-based architecture firm Kokaistudios. The site is located in the UNESCO protected area of the temples of Kyoto at the base of the mountains and faces a historical traditional Japanese pond surrounded by a magnificent heritage ikeniwa garden. Positioned between the arrival lobby and the garden, the restaurant is the core of the public space of the hotel, becoming in this way the main representative space of the entire resort. The architect conceived the space on with a strong architectural strategy by using the Kyoto traditional system to connect indoor to outdoor, creating a large architectural feature that frames the view of the garden. We would like to share this Interior Design of a stunning lodge called the Get Away Lodge located just outside of village of Åre in Jämtland County, Northern Sweden. It’s a collaboration between renowned car brand Volvo and an online hotel curator Tablet Hotels . Inside the lodge, you’ll be charmed with a wood burning fireplace, lounge, free wi-fi/parking, 24 hours concierge and on top of that; access to access to Volvo’s newly launched all-weather V90 Cross Country wagon car! NL2 SMA is an interior design and architecture project shared by Anton Siriak. I rarely post about interior design, I usually write posts about architecture, however there's something about this project that really caught my attention. I am fan of simple interiors, minimal. I love when everything is sort of hidden and whatever is visible is because it has a purpose a bit more than just decoration. Anton's project embraces all of that, with the addition of a stunning outdoor space. Check it out and let us know what you think. For me, I will just dream of having my house looking like that, one day. Anton Siriak is an architect and interior designer from Kyiv, Ukraine. His portfolio is full of great work. Today, we would like to share this Interior Design and Branding project from an asian food cafe based in Rostov-on-Don, Russia. Behind this project, we’ll have a collaboration from teams in interior design & architecture, in identity & graphic design, in print design and in photography. All together to bring a space inspired by the stylish palette from Japanese cuisine. From my perspective, I love how the light comes in during the day that highlights the chairs and floor. It creates such an atmosphere and for the branding; they kept a minimal approach to the design and like how the takeout is that one thing that differs from the rest of the stationery. What do you think? Kyoto is an urban asian food cafe based in Rostov-on-Don, Russia. The café has 3 areas: there are contemplation, communication and food zones. The interior is based on contrast combinations of textures; the color scheme is a stylized dish palette of traditional Japanese cuisine. Identity and decor of the facade are based on graphic patterns and methods of traditional sign boards in Japanese cities.
