There's been some rumors about a new Ghostbusters movie, and I'm pumped about it already. It would be awesome to see our beloved characters in the silver screen catching some spooky creatures once more.

So I got inspired and went looking for some ghostbusters' artworks and found some wicked illustrations... and here are some computer graphics here, which are also cool. Awesome New Mathias Townsend's Works

Almost 3 years ago we featured some great pieces of work by Brazilian designer Mathias Townsend. He's got a new website and a bunch new works to share with the world. He's really improved over the years.

The Breathtaking Work of Prologue

This year we have seen some amazing movies and tv shows. One of the greatest things about some of these movies/shows is opening and end credits. The best part is that we can get to see these work right here, right now.

One of the agencies behind open credits of big budget productions is Prologue. These guys have made from Iron Man to The Walking Dead credits, and their latest work is Tron: Legacy (if the light castle at the opening credits gave you goosebumps, you know what I'm talking about).

Prologue functions as a collective of designers, filmmakers and artists. It is a body with many parts, each performing a unique function, and each supporting the whole. We encourage, challenge and sharpen one another in an effort to create work that is both communicative and inspirational. It is an approach toward design that has been tested and proven over the years, but we remain open to new ideas, methodologies and perspectives. We are proud of our accomplishments, but not content. We especially value our collaborative relationships with our client partners. We strive to support them creatively and help them tell their stories. We believe that when talented individuals work in concert with patience and passion great work is the result.

3D Strange Creatures

It's been a very long time since the last time we had a 3D works post so we just had to post something today. It's always nice to see that each year 3D pieces are getting more and more realistic. Thank God there's the awesome CGSocity.org for us to find these babies.

I remember back in 2006 that it looked totally amateur compared to present technology and techniques. One good way to measure that is through video games! It's getting more realistic each year, and that just awes me. I guess that will come a time when we won't be able to tell whether an image is computer graphic or real life. "Is this real life?" Super Realistic 3D Work of Max Wahyudi

It's been sometime since we had a computer graphics post. This week we got to see the amazing work of a canadian, who shows us the development of a model of the Joker which pretty much is waaay sick.

If they ever get to clone Heath Ledger, this is probably how it will look like when they're setting it up. Besides that, the work of Max Wahyudi is totally realistic, one of the most awesome we've seen. Anyways, you may check this portfolio. I hope you all enjoy these. Cheers! ;)

Ok, this is amazing. This is a FULL - CG animated short film, that is so amazingly done that most times you actually forget that what you're saying is not real. It tries to illustrate architecture art across a photographic point of view where main subjects are already-built spaces. Sometimes in an abstract way. Sometimes surreal.

30 Astonishing 3D Portraits

One of the best ways to really trip deeply into imagination is to check 3D works! Yes, 3D opens wide possibilities for stories, as we see new characters, still to have their story written. Seriously, thank God for 3D artists, like the ones featured here.

These renders are as amazing as it gets. The artists are getting more qualified each day, and it awes me to see their work! All of these were done by the fine artists from CGSociety. Amazing Realistic 3D Computer Graphics

3D renders really impress me. It's incredible how some designers recreate things from real life on a computer, creating what we may call simulated pictures. Sometimes, we can't even tell whether an image is real or a computer graphic, and that's freaking amazing.

During a long visit to the CGSociety yesterday, I selected 30 amazing realistic 3D Computer Graphics that impressed me a lot for its rendering and textures, which turned this computer generated images into real pictures of another world. Absolutely Stunning Illustrations and Game Concept Arts by Michael Kutsche

I'm totally addicted to game concept arts, and yesterday I got to know the work of the German artist Michael Kutsche, an awesome illustrator that has been doing some sweet work for Sega and other great clients. These are truly some absolutely stunning illustrations and game concept arts.

Video of the Week #43

This past week we got to know the new game of the Rock Band franchise: The Beatles Rock Band. It's really hard to someone who enjoys good music not to like the Beatles, and even harder to find someone in a sane mind who doesn't like video games. That said, it's clear that a person who might not like this game simply doesn't exist.

This video is totally awesome, because it not only was made by the guys behind Gorillaz, but it follows the full story of the guys from Liverpool. From their explosive beginning to their psychedelic trips. Pretty awesome! Anyways, this video is posted at Youtube, and since many of these games videos are taken away from time to time, in case you find this offline, simply got the game's website, and just enjoy the full experience (really recommended for fast connections). Totally Cool Left 4 Dead Screens and Posters

One of the hottest game at this moment is making zombies hit gamers everywhere once more. Left 4 Dead is one hell of a thrill ride in a post apocaliptic world, but what deserves our attention right now, is the quality of the computer graphics!

Everybody knows that we are suckers for 3D renderings, and boy, these are totally stunning... and the best of it all is that these are all in-game screens. Of course, there also the awesome posters that illustrate each chapter of this gruesome game. Anyways, check these out, I bet you'll really dig it. Cheers! ;)

I really love how people picture the future, with all those gigantic buildings, flying cars and space travel. We've seen it in the movies, we've seen it in books, and now, we get to see it in sweet computer graphics!

Yay! It's friday! And today I actually had another video for you guys, but since friday is always a special day, we thought it would be awesome if we had some music today! That's why I chose this Video of the Week!

You guys probably know this song: "Shut up and let me go" by the Ting Tings. When I first listened it, I thought it was a Brazilian group called Cansei de Ser Sexy, but for my surprise, it wasn't. 26 Awesome 3D Robots, Cyborgs and Armored Suits
