Last week we've linked the Tinysong site in our Sites of the Week. Beyond being a great app, it has an really well executed design, and I thought it would be a good idea to reproduce the same design and make a fireworks tutorial out of it.
For this tutorial we're not gonna apply any great effect or use a unknown tool, but only show you a simple way of making neat effects that will make the difference in a layout.
The wallpaper of this week is an image created by Jacob Bian, a digital artist and graphic designer from Kitchener, Ontario, Canada. The image mixes 3D objects with some light effects that are sort of retro and futuristic, something like from the 80s.

The book suggestion of this week is the next one in my list and I will start reading it this weekend. It's called Cradle to Cradle: Remaking the Way We Make Things. I have been waiting to read this book for a while. I got it a few weeks ago as a present and now it's the right time. Below I will list some info about the book.
