Celebrating Halloween, Marcos Torres will show us how to create a sort of creepy composition playing with some textures, photos and blend modes in Photoshop. The name of this piece is called Sisters and it's perfect for this halloween time.
Step 1
First off, open Photoshop and create a new document. This new document should have 1680 x 1050 pixels. Now, I used an image of a wood texture, you can download it here. Open the photo and paste it on the 1680 x 1050 canvas.
The wallpaper of this week is an artowrk created by Neil Hanvey, a designer, illustrator and web developer from Hereford, United Kingdom. For this wallpaper Neil shows us a design to support the victims from the earthquake in Haiti, the design is called "Hope for Haiti".

The book suggestion of this week is a must read in my opinion, it's The Lean Startup: How Today's Entrepreneurs Use Continuous Innovation to Create Radically Successful Businesses by Eric Ries. I read this book in a few days and it was one of those books that you know they will be useful and will you help you to improve in your career.
