Last week I had posted an article about Photoshop Masters, it was really good to see their works and how they used the tool to achieve those amazing effects. I really like the style of some guys there, particularly Adhemas Baptista, Eduardo Recife and Nik Ainley.
Now in this post, I created a really cool design mixing a photo with vector elements using Photoshop (lots of brushes) and Illustrator.
The wallpaper of this week is a very colorful image created by Fatkur Rokhim, a freelancer designer from Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Fatkur is also known as "svpermchine" at his Deviantart profile and he sent this wallpaper to us, so if you have a wallpaper and you want it to be featured on the Wallpaper of the Week, just let us know. The book suggestion of the week is one of my favorites, it's called Typology: Type Design From Victorian Era to the Digital Age and it covers a lot of art history always linking with types and typography. It's a must read for those starting out their careers or even willing to dust off their typology and typography skills.
