Almost 2 years ago, I wrote a Photoshop tutorial that became quite popular. Its effect was a sort of explosion of mental waves, like a powerful superhero attack. Because of the tutorial’s popularity, I decided to recreate that effect in Pixelmator.
For this wallpaper of the week we have the design from the Super Cool Abstract Vectors in Illustrator and Photoshop tutorial. We chose the dark version because, as you might have noticed, we sort of love dark wallpapers. The book suggestion of this week is very inspiring, especially for those out there fans of LPs. The book is called The Art of the LP: Classic Album Covers 1955-1995 and it has a great variety of cover design styles from punk rock to pop all divided by thematic chapters.
