I have been playing a lot with the Displace filter in Photoshop and I still get impressed with how powerful it is. Even though I have written some tutorials using it, I decided to try to recreate a different effect that I saw in one of the images submitted for the Daily Inspiration. It was a brick wall deformed like it was made of cloth.
The wallpaper of this week is a beautiful composotion created by Jonathan Wong, a digital artist from Limerick, Ireland. We have already featured Wong's work here on Abduzeedo. Also he's member of collectives like DepthCORE and Evoke.

The book suggestion of this week is the next one in my list and I will start reading it this weekend. It's called Cradle to Cradle: Remaking the Way We Make Things. I have been waiting to read this book for a while. I got it a few weeks ago as a present and now it's the right time. Below I will list some info about the book.
