In this tutorial I will show you how to create a really cool effect. First, we will use basic filters to create a 3D text effect; then, we will blend some stock photos and textures to produce one hell of a wallpaper.

The wallpaper of this week is really cool design by Perttu Murto, a 24-year-old graphic designer, art director and illustrator from Finland. Pettu has been involved in graphics for almost 8 years and was also selected as the Young Advertisement Designer of the Year for 2007 in Northern Finland. His work has also been featured in several prestigious design websites and magazines.
