Mobile Web Design

Mobile Web Design

Adjusting a site for the mobile environment is a great challenge. A lot of techniques you are used to applying on web design would not make any sense on mobile, and vice-versa. Mobile is a great place to try new things with different limits. People using the mobile web are much less patient than those in front of a computer--cellphone screens are much smaller and the mobile internet connection, usually 3G, isn´t as fast yet.

Great Reads for 2010

The beginning of the new year came with lots of plans and resolutions. I was browsing around looking exactly for that kind of thing when I found this great site called nestliving.com and got amazed by their design - both web design and product design. When I was working on the new version of Abduzeedo, the current one, I decided to learn and use CSS 3 to enhance the visual of some elements. Instad of using images to create shadows and round corners I used CSS 3. Of course I knew that it would not be compatible to all browsers, more precisely, the Internet Explorer.
Web Design Process: Zee Site

Web Design Process: Zee Site

I started Zee back in 2004 with a friend of mine, Fabiano Meneghetti. Throughout these years we have learned a lot, from our successes and of course from the failures. It's part of the game right, even though we try to succeed more than fail. One of this mistakes, was to partnership with people that did not share the same thoughts that we have, with different perspectives and ideas.
