Last year I had written a tutorial showing how to create some lighting effects in Photoshop, it was called Magic Lighting Effects. A lot of people liked it, but some people still have some questions on how to achieve that effect.
When I added a “buy me a coffee” featured on my blog I decided to use an image I had done when I was showing my cousin how to do the Magic effect. Instead of using a hat I used a coffee cup and the process is basically the same, however this time I will explain it in more details.
Yesterday we posted about the new depthCORE exhibition, called NOIR, so today we have one of those outstanding images for our Wallpaper of the Week. Justin Maller sent us the super cool Ombres et Diamants. Again we highly recommend that you visit the depthCORE.com website and check all the artworks out.
The book suggestion of the week is a must have for those willing to design nice web sites and pretty much anything. It is called Ordering Disorder: Grid Principles for Web Design (Voices That Matter) and as the name says it is all about grid systems or the principles behind it.
